I’m not a lawyer. If you are one or know this stuff better than me, get in touch!
I would love to have put all this work in the public domain, but I’m particular about keeping it and whatever it inspires free, where possible. If it were in the public domain, you could, say, make a film based on a story of mine and sell it for millions. Maybe you want millions, maybe you’ll make millions anyway, I’m not saying you don’t or won’t. I’m only saying, don’t make your millions by forcing people to pay for anything you make with my work. If you really want to use it for commercial purposes, contact me.
Feel free to still make money. I would like to make money. Feel free to rip what I’m doing — offering work for free, and setting up a voluntary contributions page. I ripped that idea from someone else too, because I think it’s a really good one. But I’d prefer that this work remain free, and any remixes or reworkings or adaptations remain free as well.
