My name’s Anna. Hi.
Writing this, I’m 23 and I live in Spain (for now).
I write, I think, I create.
I’m looking for that sweet spot, the overlap of what I love to do, what I’m good at doing, what might save the world, and what can at least sustain my ability to eat.
I was born in Greenwich, Connecticut, grew up in San Diego, California, and lived for a while in New York City and London (and a bit in Tel Aviv, Washington D.C., and Port-au-Prince). I’ve been writing and making art for as long as I can remember, and trying to figure out how to be a person for probably longer than that.
I’ve worked for non-profits and start-ups and companies and myself. I got my Bachelors in Political Science from Barnard College in 2013, and my Masters in Political Sociology from the London School of Economics in 2016. I started a second Masters in Filmmaking at the London Film School, but I dropped out after my first term for a lot of reasons. For the rest of it, I’m pretty much self-taught.
Right now, I’m traveling and figuring out how to make a living doing what I love to do.
The best way I can think of to talk about myself is, well, the work I do. If you click through the stuff on this website, you’ll get to know me pretty well.
Here’s my honest CV, if you want to look at it.
