Postcard: Inverness

Dedicated with love to that guy who punched a Nazi in the face on live television,

When you find yourself alone in Northern Scotland in a city with no protests happening where you don’t know anyone, on the day Donald Trump assumes the presidency of your country, you have a few options.

Ignore it all?
Watch the speech and cry and feel angry and sad and powerless?

Or find some way to protest by yourself. Empower yourself, even if no one else sees it.

Me? I turned off the news. I watched interracial lesbian porn and masturbated. I came exactly as he took his oath of office. I watched Black and White and Asian and Latin@ queer lovin’ and gave myself some lovin’ and it felt good and I laughed at the world.

The fight is coming soon. But like Emma Goldman (didn’t actually ever say) said, “It’s not my revolution if I can’t dance to it.”

To anyone fighting oppression, and I mean fighting, I love you. I stand with you.

We are our own saviors. We fix this ourselves, together. This is our world and it is what we make of it.

And this pussy grabs back.
